Summer Home Sales Edge Up including Cape Cod real estate
Businessweek's Real Estate article - From Hamptons to Tahoe, Summer Home Sales Edge Up - said "Prices for luxury second homes remain far below boom levels, but are beginning to climb in prime areas."
Businessweek spoke to Robert Paul Properties co-owner, Paul Grover, who along with his partner Robert Kinlin are leaders in the sale of waterfront properties across Cape Cod and South Coast of Massachusetts. Paul said, "Others who are willing to hold on to their homes do not place them on multiple-listing services and only quietly market their property."
The accompanying slide-show of the Most Expensive Summer Homes 2010 also states that "Robert Paul Properties, which specializes in luxury homes on Cape Cod and the Massachusetts South Coast, reported that the number of Cape Cod sales in the first quarter increased 58% over the same period a year earlier."
